The thing that suffers most during my practicuum and probably during my working days.... My poor, neglected blog......

What with school 5 days a week, tuition, dance, Jap and DF, not much time lately to devote to actual blogging... *sigh* Not to mention my latest habit of dozing off in the afternoon instead of doing more productive stuff like, planning lessons or er, blogging......

*SIGH* Tell me again why I entered this line?

Anyway not that my social life has suffered much. I managed to catch The Producers, Mirrormask, and West Side Story all last week, even in the midst of, er, frantically preparing last minute for lesson observations.

Again, here comes my bad habit of running away just when things are getting real bad, and then coming back to frantically sweep up a lot of bullshit that accumulated during that time.

This week is a bit less chaotic, since all my lesson obs have been completed and this is the last week of practicuum. [yay] Which also means that the permanent posting [and hence more work] is getting closer [boo]

But at least.... I'm getting a break for a while. Here is to formally announce that I will be flying to SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA from 12th May to 14th May with Necroxz, to see Angkor Wat, and basically do all the stupid touristy thing of walking around with my camera around my neck and taking a dozen shots of everything.

Yes, you read that right. CAMBODIA.

I think I'm getting a weird fascination with the 3rd world countries around our area. One reason is hey, Angkor Wat is like one of the world's oldest ruins, and was, at the height of its power, more powerful than the kingdom of Rome. It's also been named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. I've been reading a guide book I borrowed and the more I read, the more I'm fascinated by these ancient ruins and the intricacy of the sculpture design.

The other reason is at least I'll be going where half of Singapore hasn't already gone. :p

I'll be bringing trusty Oliver as my travel mate again, since he's proved himself wonderfully during Ho Chi Minh, so he definitely comes along again. Shiroi will also be going to provide entertainment, n also to help me [hopefully] make some podcasts. And of course there's my human companion, Necroxz. Heh.

So if you don't hear from me a while... Don't call the police. Call the hospitals to check whether I stepped into any mines.

heh. Just kidding. *choy*
